CAMP TAJI, Iraq – Air Force Maj. Jack Swinehart (left), 721st Air Expeditionary Advisory Squadron UH-1H pilot, oversees an Iraqi pilot performing aerial formation flying procedures here, Oct. 8. The major trains Iraqi students on approaches, take-offs, landings and remote operations consisting of landing in unfamiliar landing zones. U.S. Air Force instructor pilots assigned to the 721st AEAS train, advise and assist Iraqi helicopter pilots around the clock, helping the Iraqis develop their own air force. Major Swinehart is deployed from and is a native of Fort Rucker, Ala.
