Khaidi Abbas Hassan counts his blessings as he receives his micro grant for the development of his business. "We're looking at business that we can help improve the quality of life here in Basrah. Whether it's providing a means of sanitation improvement of a market, bringing more livestock in to the country or providing construction workers the tools they need to secure contracts, we're giving them a chance to enhance their community," said Sgt. 1st Class Serena Puckridge, 364th Civil Affairs Brigade, commander's emergency response program funding manager and a native of San Antonio, Texas.
