150809-N-UN259-126 JAVA SEA (Aug. 9, 2015) The littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3) participates in ship maneuvering exercises with warships from the U.S. and Indonesian navies during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Indonesia 2015. In its 21st year, CARAT is an annual, bilateral exercise series with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations including Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
