22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit

A forklift transports supplies on the flight deck of the amphibious dock-landing ship USS Fort McHenry to Sailors and embarked Marines from India Company and Sierra Battery, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, so the supplies can be loaded on the ship during a vertical replenishment Oct. 2. The 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. Central Command. The Bataan ARG is conducting Maritime Security Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
