Andres Campoverde, a power generation equipment repairer from Battery G, 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute and Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, replaces a voltage regulator on a generator Aug. 13, 2009, at Forward Operating Base Salerno, Afghanistan. The voltage regulator is an important part of the generator because it is the device responsible for ensuring that the generator maintains the proper voltage output at all times.
