Master Cpl. Jason Porter, 409th Tactical Fighter Squadron aviation systems technician, loosens a bolt on a CF-18 Hornet during Gunfighter Flag Sept. 23. The CF-18 Hornets from the 409th TFS out of Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, participated as friendly "blue air" forces during the exercise. Gunfighter Flag, which ran from Sept. 14 through 24, was Mountain Home's first-ever large-scale, multi-national exercise which brought more than 450 personnel from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and Canadian air force to Mountain Home.
