3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division

Pfc. Chris Pointer and Pfc. Dillon McGrath, both combat engineers with 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, get together and play their guitars every evening on Forward Operating Base Q'West, in Qayarrah, Iraq. The Soldiers use their guitars to relieve stress after a hard mission and to express themselves. "It's something to do besides the mission. Nobody tells me how I can and can't do it, so I can make my own music the way I want to. I don't know how to explain it," said Pointer, who hails from Little Rock, Ark.
