Greenville, S.C. native Sgt. Ernest Curry, a scout squad leader for the 1st "Black Knight" Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and Tuscon, Ariz. native Staff Sgt. Mark Filip, a scout section sergeant, push a 10,000 pound Humvee during the "Black Knight" 1000 Competition at Joint Security Station Shield, east of Baghdad, July 12. Soldiers from the "Black Knight" Battalion participated in this seven-event partner based course to build cohesion and esprit de corps.
