Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit swim in the Red Sea near the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan as it sits at anchor, July 11. Bataan is serving as the flagship of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group supporting Maritime Security Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. The 22nd MEU, embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan ARG, is serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. Central Command.
