Col. Bruce E. Nickle shakes hands with Col. John J. Broadmeadow during the Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group change of command ceremony held at the 11 Area parade field at Camp Pendleton, Calif., June 30. Nickle, 44, from Vienna, Va., relieved Broadmeadow, 47, from Pawtucket, R.I., who was selected for brigadier general in April. Broadmeadow will continue his service as the deputy commandant general, Marine Forces Pacific, Camp Smith, Hawaii.
