Marines from Kilo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, walk on the beach in Greece outside Nea Anchialos Air Force Base to load a Landing Craft, Utility heading to USS Ponce, part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, June 6. Elements of the MEU went ashore in Greece for a 12-day training evolution. The 22nd MEU is embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. European Command.
