Iraqi Col. JSS Shaab is one the first of eight JSS's in the Baghdad area to have responsibility transferred back to the government of Iraq. The 1st Ironhorse Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division was also successful in transferring JSS Adhamiyah. The process of transferring responsibility of JSS's will be completed no later than June. 30.
