Runners begin their 13.1 mile race, May 2, at Forward Operating Base Salerno in eastern Afghanistan where they ran in a remote version of the 33rd Indianapolis 500 Festival Mini-Marathon hosted by the 1st Agribusiness Development Team from the Indiana National Guard.
