The training teaches Soldier how to implement the versatile Cargo Helicopter 47 (CH-47) Chinook extended range fuel system, known as the “Fat Cow”, which is used in environments where there is an urgent need for fuel distribution. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
