U.S. Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 3 Georgi Hernandez, center, officer in charge, 2nd Marine Division (MARDIV), congratulates Cpl. Katelyn M. Hunter, right, machine gunner, Weapons Company, Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force, MARDIV, for receiving the Cpl. William T. Perkins Jr. Award, Camp Lejeune, N.C., Jan. 7, 2015. Hunter won this award for her imagery taken while attached to the Consolidated Combat Camera Facility, Okinawa, Japan, throughout the 2014 calendar year. The award commemorates the only combat photographer to have ever been awarded the Medal of Honor, which he received for his heroic efforts during the Vietnam War.
