Staff Sgt. Carty, who worked with teams East and West has focused on developing the athletes physically and morally. “We know they are talented athletes, but it takes a better individual to be talented and have character,” Carty said. “That’s what we want – them to be better individuals.” The Marine Corps’ is known for making Marines, winning battles and developing and returning quality citizens.
