Second Lt. Yousef Adiputra views a display at the Montford Point Museum at Camp Johnson, N.C., Dec. 18, 2014. The Marines with Alpha Battery, 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion, visited the museum to learn more about the Corps’ history and the sacrifice of previous generations of service members. Adiputra is the 1st platoon commander with Alpha Battery and is a native of Queens, N.Y.
