Staff Sgt. Bryan Oakes, the master gunner for the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, shoots a clay pigeon out of the air Oct. 24 as part of a trap and skeet competition. The shooting competition was just one part of Marne Week. The Spartan shooting team ended up earning first place and was later awarded during the closing ceremony. At the end of the four days, earned points are added up, and a winner is announced. Amazingly the 2nd ABCT won, even though they are severely under staffed due to their imminent inactivation.
