The 7th Infantry Division held a ceremony for Col. James B. Jarrard, who promoted to brigadier general. Jarrard is the 7th Inf. Div. deputy commanding general for Operations. The ceremony took place at the JBLM French Theater, where he was presented honors as well as a general officer's flag, belt, pistol and a round from the salute battery.
