Pumpkin pie is staged Nov. 23 prior to a Thanksgiving feast set up by volunteers with Combat Logistics Regiment 35 for the second annual Thanksgiving celebration with the residents and staff of the Tai Chu En Children’s Home at the Camp Kinser Chapel. In America, it is a common tradition to have pumpkin pie for dessert after Thanksgiving dinner. For most of the children, it was there first time tasting pumpkin pie and also turkey.
