More than 40 Military Intelligence Readiness Command Army Reserve Soldiers and family members joined Washington Redskins football players and other community volunteers to assemble and distribute Thanksgiving food baskets for more than 3,000 National Capital Region families in need. The Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation hosted their 12th Annual Redskins Harvest Feast presented by Ryan Homes at FedEx Field. The Army Reserve Soldiers formed an assembly line to bag nearly 2,000 sacks of dry goods, juice, and non-perishable food items. Other teams bagged vegetables, fruit, and turkeys for families in need.
