Vice Adm. John W. Miller, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, U.S. 5th Fleet, Combined Maritime Forces, recognizes sailors from the Kuwaiti ship Journey of Hope for their courageous voyage while raising awareness of the rights and potential of people with intellectual disabilities. Journey of Hope sailed to 44 ports in 18 different countries to raise awareness and share a humanitarian message about the capabilities of people with intellectual disabilities.
