Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) drive through the desert as part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) sponsored Sunset Safari tour during a regularly scheduled port visit. Sterett is deployed as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group supporting maritime security operations, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
