Excavation for a 250,000 square foot addition to the Army National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, Va., continues on April 20 in the pouring rain. The completed, $98 million building will provide office space for the National Guard Bureau and its joint staff of citizen Soldiers and Airmen who will move there from Crystal City, Va., in 2011. The project is nearing 10 percent complete after its official groundbreaking last December.
