Dougal Barker, 1st New Zealand Brigade, briefs local community members and military leaders from the U.S. and New Zealand on Exercise Kiwi Koru at the Stratford War Memorial Centre Nov. 12, 2014, in Stratford, New Zealand. Kiwi Koru is a 20 daylong bilateral exercise between U.S. and New Zealand militaries on the North Island of New Zealand. The exercise is designed to enhance defense relations with New Zealand through conducting multinational training and advancing interoperability between both forces.
