U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Jael Laborn, Aerial Combat Videographer from the 3rd Combat Camera Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, conducts a secondary operations check on his camera during an airdrop on a C-17 Globemaster III for Army Airborne operations during Joint Operations Access Exercise at Fort Bragg, N.C., June 25, 2013. Joint Operational Access Exercise is a seven day integrated effort between the 82nd Airborne Division and its Air Force partners. JOAX synchronizes the planning and execution of a large-scale forcible entry into a hostile area; securing sufficient freedom of movement while facing anti-access and area-denial capabilities of our enemy. This unified training brings together two Infantry Brigade Combat Teams, six Air Force Air Wings, support elements from fires and Aviation Brigades and other enablers along with the Division headquarters in order to prove the forcible multiplying value of joint operations.
