Harford Technical High School, Bel Air, Md., ninth-graders learn about the Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System at the APG STEM Expo Nov. 18. The LRAS3, provided for the demonstration by PEO Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors, is “the eyes of the battlefield,” using infrared night vision technology to “let Soldiers see the enemy long before they see you,” according to Scott Winter of IEW&S.
