Sergeant Erik Stensen, Technical Engineer, 534th Engineer Detachment, 15th Engineer Battalion, 18th Engineer Brigade, 21st Sustainment Command, takes a quick break from the hot, exhausting work in Buchanan, Liberia, Nov. 17, 2014. Although the engineers lack general amenities, like washing machines and showers, they work day and night to get the Ebola treatment unit built for the people of Buchanan. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
