Several KC-130J Super Hercules airplanes belonging to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 emerge from a morning fog on the flightline at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., Nov. 17, 2014.
Cherry Point is home to 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing and several of its squadrons. Cherry Point's runways operate 24/7, 365 days each year, and the air station hosts squadrons that specialize in air-to-ground attack support; electronic warfare; aerial transport and refueling; and sea and land search and rescue.
