Rear Adm. Cindy Thebaud, commander, Expeditionary Strike Group 2, serves ice cream to a Sailor aboard amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) during the multi-national exercise Bold Alligator 2014 (BA14). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
