Louisiana Air National Guard Maj. Brian Marbach, 122nd Fighter Squadron pilot, based at New Orleans, conducts offensive counter-air training onboard an F-15D Eagle, along with another F-15C Eagle assigned to the 159th Fighter Wing, during Exercise Southern Strike 15 (SS15) near Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, La., Nov. 4, 2014. SS15 is a total force, multiservice training exercise hosted by the Mississippi National Guard's CRTC from Oct. 27 through Nov. 7, 2014. The SS15 exercise emphasizes air-to-air, air-to-ground and special operations forces training opportunities.
