Pfc. Juan De La Rosa, an infantryman with Company C, 502nd Infantry, based at Fort Campbell, Ky., crosses the finish line in second place with a time of 18 minutes, 15 seconds Oct. 24 at Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania. The route, organizers learned, actually extended a bit over the 5 planned kilometers.
