Builder 3rd Class DeJohn Reed, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 1, removes a worn tread from a stringer during a rehabilitation project on Marine Corps Air Station New River while participation in Bold Alligator 2014 (BA14). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
