Maj. Justin D. Lokkesmoe, left front, company commander, Headquarters and Service Company, Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force, and 1st Sgt. Jonathan D. Borders, right front, company first sergeant, H&S Co., GCEITF, lead a combat conditioning hike aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 23, 2014. The hike was the first executed by H&S company since the establishment of the GCEITF. From October 2014 to July 2015, the Ground Combat Element Integrated Task Force will conduct individual and collective skills training in designated combat arms occupational specialties in order to facilitate the standards based assessment of the physical performance of Marines in a simulated operating environment performing specific ground combat arms tasks.
