Marines and Sailors aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) offload supply pallets from a U.S. Air Force CV-22B Osprey from the 20th Expeditionary Special Operations Squadron (ESOS). San Diego is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
