Sheik leaders await the arrival of 22 former Iraqi detainees at Joint Security Station Doura, in southern Baghdad, March 27. After the detainees arrived, they were processed through the Iraqi national police and local sheiks signed paperwork holding them responsible for the former detainees who will be under their supervision in a process similar to probation. Multi-National Division - Baghdad Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, currently attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, assisted the national police with the release ceremony.
