Lt. Col. Jeff L. Hammond, center, and his daughter, Aurora Hammond run past zombies Oct. 4 at Camp Hansen. The Halloween-themed zombie run stretched for 3.7 miles and consisted of service members disguised as zombies chasing runners to try and “infect” them. Hammond is the commanding officer of 7th Communication Battalion, III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. Both are from Millington, Michigan.
