Air Force Staff Sgt. Alejandro Gomez works to securely attach a 175 pound mannequin to a Skedco litter in order to move the dummy to a predetermined location approximately 100 meters away at the 147th Air Support Operations Squadron, 147th Reconnaissance Wing, Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, Houston, July 8, 2014. The task was part of a Combat Endurance Readiness Test, or CERT, which is one of many tests required to become a Tactical Air Control party member in the United States Air Force and tests the candidates’ ability to perform when placed in stressful situations.
