PO2 Jones and PO3 Green, hospital corpsmen with Combat Logistics Battalion 6, along with fellow Marines, rushed to the aid of a man who had been injured in a motorcycle accident. CLB-6 and Weapons Company, 2nd Battlion, 5th Marine Regiment were conducting training at Sardine Rock, Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Center in Bridgeport, California, on Oct. 4, when a passing vehicle requested help after they had come upon the scene of a motorcycle accident.
