U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Steven Tessitore, 3rd Platoon, Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, 162nd Infantry, Oregon Army National Guard, provides security during a visit to a park in Paghman, Afghanistan. The park was chosen to receive funding from the Commanders Emergency Response Program (CERP) in August 2014. A masonry and steel wall was erected to provide better privacy and prevent local livestock from entering and destroying the park's landscaping, preserving the park for more than 120,000 residents.
