Soldiers with the 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, spent the day downloading 29 M1A2 Abrams tanks from the railroad operations center Sept. 26 at Fort Hood, Texas. Upon redeploying from South Korea in October, 1-12th CAV will return to 3rd Brigade Combat Team at Fort Hood, while its equipment will remain in Korea for follow-on rotational units.
