Putnam of New Orleans, helps cadets of the West Jefferson High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps team gear up before climbing a rock wall during a Military Day picnic in Harvey, La., March 13. The students were given the opportunity to interact with Soldiers, while receiving hands-on experience with equipment, which included a howitzer, a boat display and a Blackhawk helicopter.
