U.S. Marines from 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment (3/3), 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), carry ammunition to an MV-22B Osprey during Offensive Air Support 5 in support of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) 1-15 course on Mt. Barrow, Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range, Calif., Sept. 30, 2014. WTI is a seven week training event hosted by Marine Aviation and Weapon Tactics Squadron (MAWTS-1) cadre. MAWTS-1 provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine Aviation Training and Readiness and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
