Lt. Gen. Raimonds Graube, Chief of Defense of Latvia, addresses U.S. and Latvian troops during a statue dedication ceremony here on Sept. 26, 2014. The statue, which was constructed from donations, is in remembrance of eight Latvian soldiers killed while deployed in Iraq and AFG. American paratroopers from the 173rd Airborne have been based here for training since April as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
