Moore uncase the colors for the newly formed 227th Brigade Engineer Battalion during the battalion’s activation ceremony in Kalaeloa, Hawaii, Sept. 28, 2014. The activation of the 227th Brigade Engineer Battalion has brought the battalion full circle from its time as the 227th Engineer Company. The 227th Engineer Company was reorganized as the 29th Brigade Special Troops Battalion Sept. 1, 2007.
