Members of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Course from John F. Kennedy High School help clean up a beach Sept. 20 at the Joseph F. Flores Beach Park in Guam. They joined U.S. Marines and Guam locals during the volunteer events that took place during Exercise Valiant Shield, a U.S.-only exercise integrating Navy, Air Force, Army, and Marine Corps assets, offering real-world joint operational experience to develop capabilities that provide a full range of options to defend U.S. interests and those of its allies and partners.
