U.S. Air Force Col. Marshall Collins, 145th Airlift Wing commander, and the Grady family look at the inside of a C-130 Hercules aircraft during a flightline tour while members of the 145th Maintenance Group continue to perform maintenance. David Grady, nine, a fourth grader at Davidson Day Elementary School, Davidson, N.C., wrote a thank you letter to the North Carolina Air National Guard, and was invited to read the letter at the ceremony to a room of 200 U.S. Air Force service members.
