Dr. William Sloat, the brother of Medal of Honor recipient Spc. 4 Donald Sloat, places a wreath at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial where Donald Sloat's name is etched in Washington, D.C., Sept. 17, 2014. Donald Sloat, who was killed Jan. 17, 1970, after absorbing an enemy grenade blast to protect fellow service members, was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor on Sept. 15, 2014.
