    An aerial view of New York Harbor where the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, in conjunction with regional partners, is restoring the health of the Hudson-Raritan Estuary through a major revitalization effort. To that end, a symposium, “Restoring the New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary: Ensuring Ecosystem Resilience and Sustainability in a Changing Future,” held June 3, 2014, in Manhattan, attracted more than 200 scientists, engineers, academics and restoration professionals discussing progress and new initiatives to restore the estuary.
