American flags line the side walk of the Craven County Community College Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point – Havelock campus Sept. 11, 2014, in honor of those who lost their lives during the attacks 13 years ago. The college hosted a memorial ceremony where Maj. Gen. Robert F. Hedelund, the commanding general of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, was the keynote speaker.
